Outdoor Space
We offer three types of surface areas in our outdoor space to comply with EEC outdoor space and playground safety requirements:

The first and most important one is the 2.5-inch rubber tiles under the playground climbing equipment to minimize serious injuries from falls up to five feet.

The second one is artificial grass turf that creates an always green and lush surface for running.

The third is a hard surface consisting of paver stones for riding toys.

During the summer months, we set up our own water play area to help enjoy those extremely hot days.

The program entrance has a planting area for growing vegetables, fruits, and flowers (used for year-round curriculum topics).

During Covid, I was inspired to build a plexiglass enclosure where parents can pick up and drop off without being exposed to the elements.
